My interior design obsession started when I was 10, redecorating my childhood bedroom on the regular. With all good intentions, I pursued interior design courses at Purdue University, but ended up with a communications degree, and turned out a successful 15+ HR career in Advertising & PR.
The corporate grind took its toll and in 2016 I joined forces with a realtor to stage homes. A pandemic blessed us with the time to turn passion into business - and River Lane was born! I have an natural instinct for spatial planning and am driven to honor the integrity of a space. I lean towards a transitional style and love re-purposing beautiful and meaningful items for clients. I like clean lines, neutral colors, natural lighting and organic pieces that all lend to a warm and cohesive space.

I live in Summit, NJ with my husband, three children and PWD. I love traveling, paddle, golf and yoga. I’m a comedy junkie and enjoy music, reading and sitting by a pool. In the sun. With a cocktail.

After 30 years in the corporate world working for large, global organizations as an HR executive, I finally turned off my Zoom camera and set my passion into a reality through River Lane Design. My interest in interior design started with an annual trip to the Brimfield Antique show in the 90s, and I haven’t looked back. I’ve spent the last couple decades designing and decorating multiple homes that I’ve owned (it’s a problem).

I lean towards more of a modern farmhouse style, but appreciate the beauty in every style. I am a curating and sourcing wizard – looking for that needle in the haystack piece to complete a room. Not sure what it is you are looking for? No problem, I’ll figure it out, and you’ll be amazed at what I can find. I have an eye for finding the beauty of an existing space, I love bright pops of color and I’m a badass with a power tool.
I have two daughters and I love to travel, ski, golf, sing, do yoga daily and entertain. I live part time in Minnnesota and Millburn, NJ. Its anyone’s guess where my next home (re: design project) will be.
